October 2010-January 2011: Internship at the Department of Biology, Section of Molecular Antropology, University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, Rome, Italy, for the preparation of experimental thesis for bachelor degree, working on molecular analysis of ancient DNA and the method of extracting bone collagen, Tutor Prof. Olga Rickards

March 2013-March 2014: Internship at the Department of Biology, Section of Molecular Genetics, University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, Rome, Italy, for the preparation of the experimental thesis for master degree, studying the modulation of the Notch signaling pathway in MCF-7 mammary adenocarcinoma cells treated with metformin, Tutors Prof. Gianni Cesareni and Prof. Luisa Castagnoli

November 2015-present: I’m studying the Notch signaling pathway in two different mesothelioma cell lines in response to metformin treatment.
